How I got into magic

Its a long story, so bear with me. I remember being 6 years old, and the school had organised a magician/clown to come and entertain us. I had already seen some magic before, but I cant really remember. This magician was wanting an audience member for a trick, I so wanted to take part, so I raised my hand and yelled "me! pick me!", right enough he picked me for the trick, I was so happy, he showed me an empty hat, then he pulled silk after silk after silk, out from the hat, Such an easy trick , but to a bunch of children it was very amazing, most of my friends just accepted the entertainment, but I had to know how to do this amazing feat of magic was done, I went home and told my mum that this man had done something impossible, she told me that it was just a trick, and that anyone could do it, that meant I could do it. I bought a few magic sets in the following years, and learned tricks that were good enough for me only being around 8/9, and I performed for my first crowed of about 6 people at my uncles birthday, of course I was only performing to the other kids, and they loved it and wanted to see more. I showed them a few tricks from my Marvin Magic sets, and watching there reactions was amazing.

Then I left magic and discarded it for a few years, and in 2009 I met this man who new a few tricks, and once again I was intrigued and wanted to know more, I searched around the internet and found a few magic sites, starting off with ellusionist. I looked at some of the magic that was available and bought a few decks of bicycle rider back playing cards, and the ultragaff set, I searched youtube for magic tutorials and found this channel where I could learn pretty good tricks, I found a few channels which taught card tricks, my prime focus. After I had learned the basic moves I could watch a performance and figure out how the trick worked. After seeing lots of youtube magic channels, I decided that I wanted in on this, so I created my WriHen account and subscribed to the magicians who's tricks I liked, I started  recording myself doing card tricks and uploaded them to youyube, I improved over time and I started to earn subscribers who like my magic after a year on youtube I had around 58 subscribers, now only 7 months on, the number of my subscribers has jumped to 317, that's the count today, this means that I am starting to get noticed by other youtube magicians and my friends at school. I am WriHen and that is my story, on how I got into magic, If it weren't for my mum, the internet, and youtube, I definitely would not be as good as I am today.
